Ever want to play Thor and throw an ax? Starting this September, you may have that chance, right here in Elmhurst. Throw Nation is an entertainment venue providing the opportunity to participate in ax throwing as well as other games including Balls in a China Shop, Beersbee, Foot Bowling, Stump, and more. Arrange a party (for kids or adults!), book online for a smaller group, or just walk in and see what’s happening.

Throw Nation is currently awaiting its liquor license … wait a liquor license? Ax throwing and drinking? No worries: ax throwers are limited to two glasses of beer or wine while wielding an ax and are guided by a trained employee. Guests are not allowed to enter the range if they are intoxicated.

If you haven’t yet tried Johnny & Tony’s homemade Italian beef, char-grilled Italian sausage, thin crust tavern-style homemade pizza and Vienna red hots, head over for lunch or dinner today! The pizzeria also offers carryout and limited-area delivery. If we get one of those sunny days that seem to grace us every once in a while this May, head over and see if their new Italian ices have hit the menu yet.

Coming soon!

Some Elmhurst residents were sad to see the Burger King of their youth would be demolished. However, many Culver’s fans are excited to learn that Culver’s butter burgers, Wisconsin cheese curds, and fresh frozen custard are coming to Elmhurst soon.
