Elmhurst has an updated 95-year-old movie theater, art and history museums, craft beer breweries, live music and much more. But 4th of July fireworks? Not in Elmhurst.

Read on to discover how Elmhurst celebrated the 4th in the past and find out about a few of the area celebrations Elmhurst residents attend now.

Lucky for us, not only is Elmhurst close to Independence Day celebrations being held in Chicago, but Elmhurst is also surrounded by communities offering 4th of July celebrations featuring fireworks and more, a few of which are listed in our Fireworks Guide.
