Traditionally, our View from 101 York blog post lists fun and interesting events in our community. These days, our view, like yours, has changed. Rather than seeing trainloads of commuters boarding the Metra or families walking to restaurants and shops, our literal view from 101 York is of people, some with facemasks walking through town, sometimes with dogs and strollers, but only a few boarding the Metra.
Just as our literal view has changed, our monthly blog with the same name has had to morph as well. Like last month, rather than listing local events, we are sharing virtual resources - some, like those from Elmhurst Public Library, are free, while others may involve a fee.
We hope these links are helpful to you and your family. As we remain physically distant, we continue to be impressed by the way our community is coming together virtually.
